Inserts (“we,” “us,” “our”) is an independent software developer operating as an individual, offering apps including Bundler for BigCommerce merchants. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect through our apps, how it’s used, and your rights regarding that data.

Data We Collect

When you install one of our apps (e.g. Bundler) on your BigCommerce store, we collect:

• Your BigCommerce store hash (a unique store identifier, provided by BigCommerce during OAuth install)
• An OAuth access token issued by BigCommerce, used to authenticate API requests to your store
• App-specific configuration data you create (e.g. bundle groupings, pricing rules)

We do not collect payment card details or your customers’ personal data. Data originates from BigCommerce’s OAuth flow and your direct input into the app — we do not collect data from any other source.

How Data Is Stored

Data is stored using reputable third-party cloud infrastructure providers. Access is restricted to the app operator. Data is not sold to third parties, and is only shared with infrastructure providers as needed to operate the service.

How Data Is Used

Collected data is used solely to:

• Authenticate API requests to your BigCommerce store
• Save and display your app configuration/settings
• Provide app functionality and support

Data Retention & Deletion

Data is retained while the app remains installed. On uninstall, your store’s access token is invalidated immediately, and associated store data is deleted from our systems within 30 days. To request earlier or full deletion, email hello@inserts.tech.

International Users / GDPR & CCPA

If you are located in the EU/UK or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA respectively, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data. Contact hello@inserts.tech to exercise these rights; we will respond within a reasonable timeframe as required by applicable law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@inserts.tech.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
